WHO'S INVOLVED?
Every Sunday morning we provide a safe environment for kids from birth through fifth grade where they can learn about Jesus and connect with each other.
Our volunteers are the heartbeat of our ministry, and it’s an honor to serve with each and every one of them as they love on kids each week! Every volunteer who leads in the Kids Ministry has had a background check and is committed to making the ministry a safe, Biblically relevant, and fun environment for your kids.
CHILDREN ARE A HERITAGE FROM THE LORD, OFFSPRING A REWARD FROM HIM. LIKE ARROWS IN THE HANDS OF A WARRIOR ARE CHILDREN BORN IN ONE’S YOUTH. BLESSED IS THE MAN WHOSE QUIVER IS FULL OF THEM. THEY WILL NOT BE PUT TO SHAME WHEN THEY CONTEND WITH THEIR OPPONENTS IN COURT.

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE MY KIDS?
Each Sunday morning, children gather in classrooms by age or grade to dive into the Bible through storytelling, crafts, memory verses, and group discussions. It's a space where questions are welcomed, and God’s Word comes alive!
Children join the main worship for singing, then head to a kid-friendly service designed just for them. With energetic worship, multimedia lessons, and interactive teaching, Children's Church is a time of fun and faith-building.
Safety is Our Priority! We take every step to ensure a safe, clean, and secure environment. All volunteers are background-checked and we follow age-appropriate adult-to-child ratios.

At First Church of the Nazarene, we believe that every child is a precious gift from God, created with purpose and loved deeply. In our Children’s Ministry, it’s our joy and mission to create a safe, fun, and faith-filled environment where kids can learn about Jesus in a way that makes sense to them.
Each week, your children will experience engaging Bible teaching, worship, activities, and relationships that help them grow in their faith and know they are part of God’s big story. Our team of trained, background-checked volunteers is passionate about helping kids discover who God is and how much He loves them.
